The HydraFacial procedure uses three actions to resurface the skin, physical exfoliation done by water, chemical exfoliation, and finally a suction to get rid of the dead skin cells left behind. The treatment starts with a water-based solution that is blasted onto the skin, breaking up the top layer of dead skin. This is followed by a spiral suction tip to lift the dead skin and other debris away. This method is more gentle than other methods can be. Then the chemical peel solution is applied to increase the depth of exfoliation. In this step, the serums and other customized parts of the treatment are applied. The HydraFacial uses the same basic steps as a basic medical facial: cleansing, exfoliating, extractions, and infusion of serums. The treatments can happen in 30, 60, or 90-minute sessions, depending on what you want to be done.
